Eagles Sound Estates is a fifty-five lot community established in 2003 to take advantage of the wonderful, natural setting overlooking Powells Bay. Eagles Sound Property Owners Association (ESPOA) was founded to protect the original intent of the development by maintaining its appearance as a sea side community and providing services to lot owners as members in the Association deem necessary.

 

Today there are several houses in place, all of which have met the covenant requirements. There are also many lot owners who either intend to build or value their ownership as an investment. Every member in good standing has the full right to engage in the leadership of the Community.

 

ESPOA receives its authority from the Eagles Sound Estates Subdivision Declaration of Protective Covenants, Conditions, Easements and Restrictions created on July 18, 2003. Today the Association is governed by a Board of Directors made up of five members who are elected each year at the annual member meeting. The Directors elect the officers deemed necessary to carry out the affairs of the Association. Also, there is a standing Architectural Committee with members assigned that have the responsibility of reviewing any building plans submitted for compliance with covenant requirements.

 

All members serving as a member of the Board of Directors, officer, or committee member are volunteers with a desire to meet the original objectives of the Association.
